But seriously, the desktop is the only platform where Linux isn't the dominant kernel, these days (well, a lot of servers run various forms of BSD, but they still run open source software, which is the important part). Linux still tends to be the poster child for open source, and it's going all kinds of places. Robots, smartphones, ATMs, rockets. @_@
The simple fact is that, where there is no dominant platform or a ton of pre-existing applications people want ported, Linux just makes the most sense. Anyway, back on topic- I love the effects here. Where do people keep getting these awesome penguins? XD
